# 1977 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow – An Exceptional Time Capsule
This outstanding 1977 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 1 represents a remarkable opportunity to own one of the most original examples still in existence. Finished in desirable Caribbean Blue Metallic with Navy Leather interior, this car was supplied locally by Heron Edinburgh and registered in August 1976 to a thoughtful owner who cherished it meticulously throughout his ownership. The vehicle has been preserved with extraordinary care, retaining an impressive array of original artefacts including the Heron tax disc holder, factory window logos, three Yale spare keys in their original envelope, dealer-logoed registration plates, period Quadraphonic 8-track cartridges, and even the original handbook pack and unopened toolkit with greaseproof paper still intact on certain tools. The underside remains virtually as it left the factory floor.
This exceptional Shadow was recommissioned in 2020 by an RR independent specialist and has covered only approximately 3,000 miles since, used exclusively for dry summer runs and select shows and meets. Remarkably, when new Avon Turbosteel tyres were fitted, the original Avon Piecrust tyres were carefully preserved on their original rims, demonstrating the lengths taken to maintain authenticity.
