This Mustang came off the San Jose Ford Factory plant in 1968. Dressed in its original Sea Foam Green paint colour which it still sports today. The Mustang It was selected by the last American owner because of its very original, accident and corrosion free body shell which would make the ideal candidate for the ‘Wolf in sheep’s clothing’ high performance build he had in mind.
This Mustang is not for the faint hearted; it is equipped with a Ford 351 which has been upgraded to a 410 matted with a TKO 5 speed gearbox. This engine produces over 500BHP. As you can imagine the rest of the Mustang needed to be upgraded throughout, a limited slip differential held down by race springs and shocks. It has frame lockers and full traction bars fitted also.
Underneath runs, Magna Flow exhausts with stainless steel long tube manifolds which are hooked up to electric by-pass valves on the exhaust which gives a magnificent sound akin to a full race car. It also has electric power steering to aid handling which can be turned down if a more solid driving feel is preferred.
The interior has also been fully restored with Pro car elite high back seats with a contrasting centre console, with cup holders!!
Overall, the build has been carried out to a high standard giving a classic Mustang exceptional performance and handling. This Mustang is just as happy being on the track as the road. The Mustang is for the owner who knows what he has in his garage and knows how to use it!
