About ULEZ Classic

ULEZ Classic is the UK's first aggregator dedicated to classic cars that may qualify for the ULEZ historic-vehicle exemption. We currently pull listings from Autotrader and Car & Classic. We screen by age, but we cannot guarantee the DVLA tax class or TfL status.

Why we built this

London's Ultra Low Emission Zone expanded to cover all of Greater London in August 2023, charging non-compliant vehicles £12.50 every day they enter the zone. Vehicles recorded in the DVLA historic vehicle tax class are exempt, but owners must apply for that tax class and some vehicles or uses do not qualify.

Eligibility rolls forward each April. Age is only a useful first filter: always check the registration with TfL and the official DVLA historic-vehicle guidance before buying or travelling.

How it works

Our scraper checks Autotrader daily and performs a fuller Car & Classic sweep weekly. eBay is not connected yet. We normalise the data, track prices, and present everything in a clean, searchable format.
